This is for one of my little TAFE projects.
We have to make the King and Queen of Hearts in whatever way we want, using specific colour rules. This one is "analogous" where you take one colour and two colours surrounding it on the colour wheel (ie; on a 12 coloured colour wheel you'd have 11, 12 and 1 (on a clock face)).

I had 36 colours to choose from, so I chose 4:2 redurple, 1:5 redurple, and 4:2 purple:blue, and used various ranges of those colours.

Despite the legs being a mirror copy of each other, this card is totally asymmetrical. I actually thought it was quite a good contrast to the lion's card, which seems moral regal with its symmetry (even though I did the lion after the spider). Also the asymmetry works well for the whole spider/horrid bug thing aspect.
I stuck a heart in the back there cause the picture seemed to have a bit too much white space. And it worked. Or did it? I think so, you tell me.

Why did I choose a spider? I dunno, lol. I figured it would be more effective than a queen bee or a queen ant, because nobody cares about them. Besides, black widow spiders (on which this one was based) eat their mates during sex so that's got to account for something. Alternatively I was going to go with Freddie Mercury because he's awesome and he's the guy from Queen and so you can see the logic there.

I can't turn on the watermark for some reason so I'll just rely on my good faith (which I don't have) that nobody will steal them and claim them as their own.
